Job Title: Data Analyst - Claims Strategy and Operational Analytics

Job Summary:
Chubb, a leading global insurance company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our Strategy and Operational Analytics team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven insights and supporting strategic decision-making processes across the organization. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and facilitate the data integration process, ensure data integrity, and contribute to the development of data models.
Position Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business needs.
• Engage with business stakeholders to elicit and define specific data needs for each project, ensuring alignment with desired outcomes.
• Utilize advanced data analytics techniques, including statistical analysis and data visualization, to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Transform raw data into meaningful and actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations for various internal stakeholders.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in analytics and identify opportunities to apply them to enhance overall business performance.
• Facilitate the data testing process by providing inputs on systems, data flows, and field-level values, review test cases, and promote quality data.
• Build and maintain data dictionaries to document and organize relevant data elements to enhance overall data management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Experience in insurance domains, claim centers, and financial services is preferred.
• Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, Microsoft office, and data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik etc.).
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate complex datasets and perform statistical analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within assigned deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating across various functions and levels of the organization.
